It is nice to be back in the land of pine trees.

I gotta say I always have a blast driving around the city where traffic laws mean nothing and everyone is out to get you. There are some surpringly timid drivers and no one expects the guy with Maine plates to dodge buses and taxis and slip through the intersection.

Went to Carlo’s bakery in Hoboken. Times Square to the huge toys r us and the m&m store. Went to the AMNH and the Skywalk. Went to the Bronx zoo.

lol Long Island.

Compared to upstate the city isn’t as nice IMO. We’ve got trees, and lakes, and rivers that are relatively clean, and mountains (fuck you catskills you’re hills) and good roads.

Did the kids like the museum? How about the Zoo? I live like 15 mins driving from the zoo. Glad you went to the Toys R Us they are closing it down soon!

The rent for the space is astronomical. They also closed or are closing another childhood place of mine for the same reason FAO Schwarz. Not sure if you know it but it’s also a huge toy store similar to the one Kevin visits in Home Alone 2.

Yeah we went FAO before it closed. Been to the one in Boston a lot.

That’s fair. It’s certainly not a bad place to visit, many things to do. Important thing was it was a good vacation.
